GreenTech Americas Innovation Award
This year, for the first time, the GreenTech Americas Innovation Award is launched to celebrate forward‑thinking technological and sustainable solutions that are shaping the future of protected horticulture. It shines a spotlight on breakthroughs that enhance efficiency, productivity, and crop quality, while keeping environmental responsibility at the core.
The winner will be announced during the opening ceremony of GreenTech Americas 2026 on Tuesday 24 March at the Querétaro Congress Center (QCC), Mexico.
Nominees Innovation Award 2026:
Adaviv | Lean Cultivation Co pilot
Uses AI and a smartphone camera to analyze crops without extra hardware. Improves productivity and work even without an internet connection.
Bionomic | BioShield
Stable biological solution (without live microorganisms) that controls ‘Fusarium’ and ‘Rhizoctonia’ by inhibiting their growth. Ideal for IPM in horticultural crops.
OCS | Hydroponic System OCS
DWC-type recirculating system that saves 75% of water and more than 50% of energy. Ideal for lettuce and herbs, with a return on investment in approximately 3 years.
Sera Intelligence AG | GIP
AI platform that provides clear recommendations based on greenhouse data. Sera captures the grower's reasoning and scales it across every machine and system, delivering the "why" and "what next" no dashboard or point-solution can match.
Verdant Technology | HarvestHold Fresh
Extends the shelf life of mini cucumbers and cocktail cucumbers by up to 14 and 11 days. Reduces waste and integrates easily into existing packaging without additional equipment.
