Alejandro Ávila
Operations Manager, Bonanza Greenhouses. Studies in computer systems and pure mathematics. Director and consultant in medium and high technology greenhouses for 23 years. During this time, he has managed leading greenhouse projects in the industry, developing from conception to operation more than 120 hectares of greenhouses in various parts of the country. Specialist consultant in production processes, packaging, logistics, administration, quality and certifications.

Alfredo Díaz Belmontes
Chief Executive Officer, Mexican Association of Protected Horticulture, AMHPAC. Agricultural Engineer and Administrator, graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Monterrey Campus, with a Master's Degree in Economic Development from the University of California, Davis, USA. He currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AMHPAC Insurance Fund and is an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Agricultura Controlada (AGRICO). He was State Delegate of the Federal Secretariat of Social Development in the State of Sinaloa and previously served as Northwest Regional Director of Support and Services for Agricultural Marketing (ASERCA/SAGARPA). In addition, he worked as an official for BANOBRAS in Baja California and later as a delegate in the state of Sinaloa for the same institution. It should be noted that since 2003 he has been a professor teaching various subjects at important educational institutions such as the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and the University of the West, both on the Culiacán Campus. In 2002, he founded and directed Inmobiliaria Las Fincas, S.A. de C.V. and continues to participate as an agricultural producer and shareholder in several companies in the agricultural sector.

Eunice Roque

Félix Tarrats
Managing Director, CEICKOR. Agricultural Engineer in Production from ITESM, Querétaro Campus, specializing in the management of medium and high-tech greenhouse crops, receiving training in different countries, and now a renowned Mexican grower. In 2010, he was Production Manager at AGROS S.A. de C.V., a pioneer in high-tech greenhouses in Mexico, where he carried out several high-impact strategic projects. In 2005, he was one of the founders of the Koppert Rapel Research and Training Centre (CEICKOR), an innovative project that combines business and education, training technical specialists in greenhouse crop management. He is currently the Director General of CEICKOR, which continues to consolidate its position in various projects, such as the founding of the CEICKOR University Centre, which since 2014 has been officially recognized by the SEP, offering a degree in Agricultural Engineering in Protected Agriculture. He is a permanent advisor to companies in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and the United States, advising on 250 hectares of tomato, pepper and cucumber cultivation in greenhouses, which gives him extensive experience in greenhouse management according to the region.

Homero Ontiveros
Director, AgTech América. Industrial Engineer with graduate studies in International Management from Harvard University. He found his true professional passion in the horticultural industry, dedicating himself for more than 20 years to the generation and dissemination of information on new agricultural technologies to boost the growth of high-value crop exports in Mexico and Latin America. He has extensive experience managing specialized agricultural media and organizing congresses and exhibitions in this sector. For 17 years, he directed the growth and consolidation of the magazine Productores de Hortalizas en México y Centroamérica and its website Hortalizas.com. He successfully organized the International Tomato Congress for 10 consecutive years, the Bio Controles Mexico event and the Fresh Connections Mexico and Fresh Connections Central America events in conjunction with the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) in 2012 and 2013. Since 2018 he serves as Founding Director of AgTech America, an agricultural communication consulting firm focused on the dissemination of information and technology through digital media, has advised countless agricultural technology companies in their communication and marketing efforts, and has been a consultant for GreenTech since 2018.

Hugo Escoto
Director General en Gestión de proyectos Hortícolas, Alternativa Agrícola Sustentable. With Master's degrees in Crop Protection (France) and Business Administration (ITESM), he is an Agricultural Engineer from ITESM. His career started in 1984 at Bird's Eye de México. He worked at Monsanto (1991-2002), ASOSID (2002) and Organic Trust Farms (2007-2011). In 2011, he joined Hortigen Produce and in 2014 Finca Ahuehuetes, where he remained until 2023. Currently, he is Consultant at Alternativa Agricola Sustentable. His experience ranges from large corporations to sustainable agriculture projects.

Jorge del Toro
General Director, Finka. Agricultural Engineer in Production, Business Administration and Management, by the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has 23 years of experience in Agroindustry, specializing in Design, Construction, Operation, Administration, Packaging, Marketing and Organizational Development in Agroindustrial companies. He is the founder of the Denomination of Origin of the Habanero Pepper of the Yucatan Peninsula. He was General Director of Hidroponia Maya - 40 hectares of European Cucumber in High Technology, he was General Director of Gear Alimentos 15 hectares of High Technology, advisor and developer of turnkey projects.

Mariska Dreschler
Director Horticulture, GreenTech Global. Mariska Dreschler has more than 25 years of experience in entrepreneurship, business strategy, business development and event management. As Director Horticulture - GreenTech Global at the RAI Amsterdam, she supports the global food- and flower production industry by organizing trade fairs for these communities to connect, both face-2-face and digital. The GreenTech portfolio consists of GreenTech Amsterdam as the worldwide leading trade show on horticulture technologies, GreenTech Americas as the regional trade show in Mexico and the new event GreenTech North America which will be launched in 2026.

Oscar Woltman, Consultor, Phoenix Consultoría

Pharis Rico
General Manager, HortiConnect. Collaborator in the application of the Plant Empowerment concept in Mexican conditions at the agricultural Finca Ahuehuetes. With experience working in propagation greenhouses in Holland and Mexican production. Currently General Manager in the Plantanova Propagation Centre applying state-of-the-art technology for the optimization of production processes. He believes that the future of protected agriculture in Mexico is closer than we think. It is the responsibility of those of us who have access to technology to find the balance between the integration of humans and the productive. Nothing is separate.

Wendele van der Wiele
Counselor for Agriculture and Nature to Mexico and Cuba at the Embassy of the Netherlands Kingdom in Mexico City. She supports the cooperation between Mexico and Dutch businesses, knowledge institutes and NGO’s on topics such as (protected) horticulture, water and agriculture, deforestation and biodiversity. In her previous role, Wendele was manager of the Partners for Water program of the Dutch government in The Hague, focused on the water cooperation between the Netherlands and several countries in the world.
