Vertical Farming: it is possible!

Join us for a deep dive into the world of vertical farming. In this interactive session, leading Dutch experts from Growy, Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Signify, and Inholland will explore the promises and challenges of growing crops in controlled environments.
Guided by a moderator, the session will feature an open discussion with the audience, encouraging reactions, questions, and ideas. Together, we'll discuss key themes in vertical farming, from intellectual property to crop protection, and challenge assumptions about the industry.
The following topics are covered: intellectual property (IP), shelf security, floriculture, starting material, crop protection.

Coert has been working at Wageningen Social & Economic research as social-economic researcher and has conducted research in the areas of crop protection, phytosanitary policy, PEF footrint calculations, economic horticulture income estimates research e and the designing of an economic model for feasibility studies in a vertical farm. Befor his position at WSER, Coert was projectmanager, auditor and certification manager at a certification body and greenhouse grower.
