The synergies between hardware and software in horticulture in the age of robotics and AI

Plant phenotyping is evolving fast, from manual scouting to mobile tools to AI-powered vision hardware. This session explores what that shift means for greenhouse businesses, and why the most powerful outcomes come from combining specialist hardware with a dedicated AI layer built for horticulture. Panellists from across the stack – robotics, crop registration, and AI – share how open integration is unlocking new possibilities in planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making.

Objectives:
● Understand how plant phenotyping is evolving and what the convergence of AI and vision hardware means for greenhouse operations
● Hear from industry experts across robotics, crop registration, and AI on why open, integrated approaches are delivering the strongest results
● Leave with a grounded view of where phenotyping technology is heading and how to think about building the right technology stack for your business
