About AGRIKOL
AGRIKOL is the only certified company in the construction of plastic and glass greenhouses in Serbia, which works by the highest European standards.
The main pursuit of our company is erecting professional agricultural structures (such as glasshouses and greenhouses) and installing complete internal equipment for said buildings. Our teams works in many different countries under various climate conditions. The success of our business can be confirmed by the 300+ victorious projects we have completed worldwide.
Q: What is the biggest challenge for your company, during this pandemic?
Many companies have already felt the effects of the Coronavirus on their business. The rapid spread of the Coronavirus around the world has led to increased travel restrictions from authorities.
These facts highly affect AGRIKOL's business. As of March 20, 2020, Serbia's borders were closed and more than 300 workers were unable to leave countries around the world to return home, while Serbia was in a state of emergency.
In light of the measures to contain the further spread Coronavirus (and COVID-19), AGRIKOL is following the instructions and advice of the government to guarantee the safety and health of the our workers and clients in safe conditions.
AGRIKOL is fully supporting employees, to ensure a low risk of transmission of the virus by fully complying with the Serbia government.
Where possible we are stopping all non-essential face to face contact with others and all non-essential travel. Most of the employees from the office are working from their homes now.
Q: What short-term changes need to be made to make sure business will continue?
The business is certainly going on. AGRIKOL never stops. We continue to operate in accordance with the new situation, adjusting to the current rules. No big changes, everything works as before. The quality of our service remains the same, we try to make all our customers satisfied despite the pandemic.
For now we are operating effectively with same proportion of the workforce. Our teams work in Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Romania, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, USA, Japan, and Australia. The main problem in our business is traveling now.
We are proud of our workers who, despite this difficult situation, remain disciplined and conscientious! A big thank you to our teams all over the world who are still working and helping our clients to realize their projects.
