Two years ago, Van Egmond made the ambitious decision to shift from conventional HPS lighting to an advanced LED lighting system. This transformation reflects their drive to optimize flexibility, energy efficiency and plant control, ensuring that every Lisianthus cultivated meets their renowned high-quality standards. José van Egmond, Cultivation Manager at Van Egmond, shares: “The transition to LED was not a decision we made lightly. We started with a hybrid system, but it lacked the level of control and flexibility we needed.
