Plant Lowering Robot (PLR)
Arugga's plant lowering robot was created to help tomato and cucumber growers solve labour shortages in greenhouses.
Equipped with cameras and AI-based computer vision, our Plant Lowering Robot lowers and leans tomato and cucumber plants in high tech greenhouses. Two robots are needed to cover a full hectare. First commercial units are in the process of being deployed at Lans in The Netherlands.
