On top of a 25%+ increase in exhibitors, GreenTech Amsterdam 2016 launches the Crops Theatre, a 80 seat session theatre with a full focus on crops optimization. In close cooperation with eight market leaders and innovators, GreenTech 2016 will offer growers state of the art tools, products and solutions to optimize their crop. Next to these innovations, the knowledge programme in the theatre is aimed at offering practical solutions to optimize any crop under any condition and circumstance.

Growers are faced with new challenges and opportunities every day. From feeding an expanding global population while meeting strict new emissions requirements, to producing more food on fewer acres while minimizing their environmental footprint. On top of that the circumstances differ greatly around the world. Different regions, mean different climates, different soils, different scarcity of production input and so on.

The Crops Theatre is supported by eight internationally renowned partners. “We are very proud these recognized market leaders and innovators have signed up as partner for the Crops Theatre.”, says Mariska Dreschler, Domain Manager of GreenTech. “Their knowledge and expertise ensures the Crops Theatre is a must stop for every grower. Together we will ensure the session program is of the highest interest covering every day challenges faced by growers".

The Crops Theatre is situated within close proximity to machinery exhibits as well as seed and other suppliers in the new hall 8 that is added to the GreenTech Show floor to allow for a significant expansion.
