Topic: "What's next for Green Horticulture?"

On Tuesday 9 June 2015, speakers and delegates from around the world will gather in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre for the first GreenTech Summit. This exclusive conference for industry leaders and influencers in the horticulture industry will discuss the theme: 'What's next for Green Horticulture?'. The invitation-only GreenTech Summit will be held in the odd years, when there is no GreenTech trade show.

The Summit will have an 'invitation-only' policy. The 250 delegates to GreenTech Summit 2015 will be specially invited by around 30 sponsors and join other key-players, captains of industry and trendsetters whose presence is vital to the industry and will be invited by Amsterdam RAI. Sponsors will treat their Summit clients to an inspirational day with highly respected speakers and a network of international decision makers.

Building on the success of GreenTech exhibition, the Summit will include a conference programme featuring leaders, innovators, influencers and trendwatchers from around the world and a small area showcasing solutions. A diverse range of seminars, educational programmes and meetings will address delegates specific interests and requirements. Both the Summit and trade show are organised in close co-operation with the trade associations AVAG and Fedecom.

"With the GreenTech trade show being organised biannually, we saw a great opening for a get-together of industry leaders as June is a month in which many do business in the Netherlands" , says Mariska Dreschler, Manager of GreenTech Summit, "With this Summit we aim to facilitate global knowledge sharing and create the most fertile soil for ideas and co-operations, leaving all delegates filled with inspiration."

The summit will look at the challenges in horticulture from different angles. Crossovers to other (technological) industries will be highlighted as well as the latest trends and developments in horticultural technology and production. Additionally, delegates will be invited to take part in various social and networking events.

Under the umbrella theme 'What's next for Green Horticulture?', the conference will examine the current world challenges in terms of food security and wellbeing.
