GreenTech continues international growth

Author: GreenTech

The GreenTech trade show has closed after a successful fourth edition, that was attended by almost 20% more horticulture professionals than before. This indicates that the market appreciates being able to go annually. Almost 9 out of 10 visitors expect to visit the show next year. The 3 days were all about sharing knowledge, doing business and discussing trends with great interest displayed for the numerous innovations and new products on the show. GreenTech was held on 11, 12 and 13 June 2019 at RAI Amsterdam.

A total of 12,489 professionals from 114 countries attended the trade show. The top 5 countries represented were the United States, Germany, China, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Visitors recognised the show’s innovative character. Three quarters of whom were positive about the presence of the innovations and new products.

Mariska Dreschler, Director Horticulture GreenTech: “I am very pleased with the results of GreenTech 2019: there was a positive vibe, full aisles and a lot of attention for the knowledge session theatres. Lots of side events were organised and young talent was attracted to learn more about what the booming horticulture sector has to offer. Adding the new medicinal cannabis segment also proved to be a good step”.

Positive reactions from visitors

Visitors emphasised that the trade show inspired them. Some quotes: “World class exhibitors and speakers attract high-quality attendees from across the globe making cross-border collaboration easier and simpler”, “GreenTech exceeded my expectations. Launch GreenTech Americas

GreenTech’s growth also continues internationally: GreenTech Americas 2020 in Mexico was launched on the 1st day of the show. This will take place on 24-26 March 2020 in Querétaro. The organisers will be RAI Amsterdam in partnership with Tarsus. Tarsus is part of the global Tarsus Group plc, a leading organiser in Mexico.
