For the past 9 years, I’ve had the pleasure to work and live in China. My role within PRIVA is GM Asia and VP Strategy and Commerce Horticulture Worldwide. This experience has brought me many things, such as seeing the market and digitalization world growing. Through this role, I am actively involved with Autonomous Growing Developments.
During my time in China, it was fascinating to see how quickly and easily they manage to pick up digitization especially for the Horticulture and Greenhouse facilities.
At the same time in The Netherlands, while we have a high level of ‘growing technology’ and infrastructure, the development of digitization for greenhouses needs further acceleration.
At this moment, I am back in The Netherlands, and I hope we can focus and make great advancements. Not just in The Netherlands, but globally as well.
