GreenTech Pavilions

During GreenTech Amsterdam 2019, everything GreenTech has to offer is organised into halls, themed pavilions and country pavilions. Make sure to check our theme pillars to explore all that we have to offer in terms of water technology and solutions.

Organic Pavilion

In June 2019, the Organic Pavilion will be an important part of GreenTech. This is the place to be if you are a professional in the horticulture industry. This is where we provide you with concrete answers to all essential questions when it comes to technology and innovation for organic horticulture.

The Organic Pavilion includes the following topics: fertilisers, composting, green manure - seeds - energy (solar, biogass, etc.) - weed control - research and advisory - housing certifiers - personnel management - Biological crop protections - soil tillage - processing equipment - monitoring and robotization

Medicinal Cannabis Pavilion

GreenTech Amsterdam is the place where the latest trends, developments and growth markets from international horticulture are shown and (medicinal) cannabis cultivation is definitely one of them. GreenTech Amsterdam 2019 will give you a complete picture of the specific technology used for the cultivation of cannabis. In addition to the topic of medicinal cannabis, cultivation will also play an important role in our knowledge programme and different sessions will be devoted to this topic.

Vertical / Indoor Farming Pavilion

GreenTech is organising a dedicated Vertical Farming Pavilion where all innovation, knowledge and technology in Vertical Farming comes together. This successful formula was introduced in 2016 and has increased in size each year! The pavilion will feature the Vertical Farming Café with a superb programme of roundtable talks lead by international experts on the topics of AI in Vertical Farming, Standardisation and Data, Innovation in Systems and Medicinal Plant Growing.

Precision Horticulture Pavilion

In the future, precision horticulture will play an increasingly important role in the process of growing in greenhouses and growers will increasingly be able to measure the greenhouse per square meter. At this pavilion, you will get an update of the current state of affairs and can take a look at where the technology will go in the future. GreenTech Amsterdam is the place to be where the latest technological developments are shown and at the Precision Horticulture pavilion where we create an informative hotspot with the most important stakeholders in the following segments: Cameras - software - robotics - sensors - track & tracing.

Sweet Pepper Congress

The Dutch sweet pepper growers association (P8) is pleased to announce the International Sweet Pepper Congress 2019. During the International Congress, sweet pepper growers will get insights in the worldwide developments and technologies that are to be used within the next 3 to 5 years for sweet pepper. Join the inspirational and international meeting for sweet pepper growers!

GreenTech Party

Join other exhibitors, visitors, speakers and experts for an exclusive evening at the end of the opening day of GreenTech 2019.

From 18:00 the GreenTech team will welcome you at Strand Zuid, one of Amsterdam's luxurious city beaches, right next to the entrance of the trade show. The barbeque will be lit up, your drinks are filled and music will be playing. Enjoy a relaxing evening with your industry colleagues before retiring for the day.

GreenTech Amsterdam is all about sharing knowledge. What we will explore:
From Amsterdam, we will take you to the heart of the Westland, the large glasshouse district of The Netherlands. We will start our tour at one of the most innovative substrate suppliers, BVB Substrates, at De Lier. You will learn more about trends & drivers within the global high-tech market, get a deep understanding on different lettuce growing systems and discover how Indoor Farming works. After a short ride, we will look behind the scenes of hydroponic lettuce at Nunhems’ experimental greenhouse in ‘s-Gravenzande. You will be close to the latest trials and demonstrations for existing and new hydroponic lettuce varieties of Nunhems, in the middle of the daily breeding activities. This is unique in the world!

Together we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the middle of the greenhouse and Richard Vialle from Crux Agrobotics will fascinate us with the latest developments in automation for cucumber cultivation.
