Future of growing fossil free highlighted at GreenTech

Amsterdam, 13 May 2022 – The shortlist of nominees of the GreenTech Innovation Awards 2022 has been announced. The exhibitors submitted 31 innovations which reflects that the industry is in full swing. A jury selected 5 nominees from all entries in 2 categories; ‘Innovation’ and ‘Concept’. The winners will be announced during the opening of the show on the first day. The 5th edition of GreenTech Amsterdam will take place from 14 – 16 June at RAI Amsterdam.

Amsterdam, 5 May – The programme of GreenTech Amsterdam, from 14 – 16 June at RAI Amsterdam, has been supplemented by new highlights such as ‘Tomato virus’, ‘Digital phenotyping’ and ‘Peat alternatives’. The new day-to-day highlights are presented below.

New highlights GreenTech Amsterdam: Tomato virus, digital phenotyping and peat alternatives

Amsterdam – 4 May 2022. The second edition of GreenTech Americas was a great success with 170 exhibitors from 15 countries, and 3,736 professionals from 19 countries which means more than 30 % comparing to 2021.  95% of the exhibitors already booked their stand for 2023. Practices on sustainability, success stories and technological tools were exchanged to increase the productivity of the industry at this international protected horticulture event on 27 – 29 April at the Querétaro Congress Center, Mexico. The next edition of GreenTech Americas will be staged from 21 – 23 March 2023. GreenTech Americas is organized by RAI Amsterdam in partnership with Tarsus Mexico.

GreenTech Americas second edition successfully concluded

Amsterdam, 21 April 2022 – GreenTech Amsterdam is ready to bring the horticulture industry back together again from 14 - 16 June at RAI Amsterdam. At this 5th edition the common thread of the programme will be ‘Happy Food Healthy Flowers’ with more than 100 knowledge sessions at 4 stages; the Vision- , Crops- , Technology- and Vertical & Indoor Farming & Medicinal Cannabis Theatre.

Sneak peek programme GreenTech Amsterdam 2022

Amsterdam, 31 March 2022 – GreenTech Americas organized in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy, the Netherlands Business Support Office and KLM, a start-up challenge. 2 Winners, Blue Radix and PATS Indoor Drone Solutions, were selected from an impressive group of entries. The goal of the challenge is to give start-ups and scale-ups the opportunity to present their innovative and sustainable solutions to the Latin American Horticulture market during GreenTech Americas. The show will be held from April 27 to 29, 2022, at the Congress Center, Querétaro Mexico.

2 Dutch start-ups win challenge Mexico

From artificial intelligence, to robotics, 3D crop modeling and adaptive greenhouse design, this year’s GreenTech Amsterdam is set to be bigger than ever. Over 13,000 horticulture professionals from around the world will come together to contribute towards improving global health under the theme ‘Happy Food Healthy Flowers’. The global horticulture sector is excited to be back together in person to network, celebrate, and learn with around 90% of exhibitors already confirmed.

GreenTech Amsterdam 2022: back and bigger than ever

GreenTech Americas are getting ready for their second edition on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 April in Querétaro Congress Center (QCC), Mexico. Mexico and its region Americas has a huge market potential for the horticulture industry. The show is a platform where innovative horticultural technology solutions will be promoted with the goal to drive the growth of the industry to the next level. There will be an educational Conference Programme and an ‘open to all visitors’ GreenTech Stage where industry leaders will present food production solutions for growers and investors. On the exhibition floor 155 companies from 15 countries will be present.

Second edition of GreenTech Americas in full preparation

On the 16th of February, the Japan Plant Factory Association (JPFA) and the GreenTech Amsterdam exhibition signed a Memorandum of Understanding to intensify their collaboration. Together with co-host the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo, a webinar will be organized to start the pragmatic collaboration between JPFA and GreenTech on the 23th of March. The partnership, as captured in the MoU between GreenTech and JPFA, is based on the strong relation between Japan and the Netherlands in many areas of trade, but in particular in agriculture.
