De tuinbouw kan een belangrijke rol spelen bij de klimaatambities van Nederland. Dat stelt Mariska Dreschler, directeur tuinbouw van GreenTech Global. Dankzij nieuwe ontwikkelingen is het nu mogelijk om CO2 uit de lucht te halen en te gebruiken in kassen voor de groei van planten en gewassen. Ook zorgen de inzet van bijvoorbeeld artificial intelligence, drones en warmtepompen in kassen voor een lagere ecologische voetafdruk van tuinbouwbedrijven. Duurzaamheid en de energietransitie zijn centrale thema’s tijdens de zesde editie van GreenTech Amsterdam. De internationale vakbeurs voor de tuinbouwsector vindt plaats van 13 tot en met 15 juni in RAI Amsterdam.

During 3 days a selection of experts will highlight the latest developments in the horticulture industry on the various stages of GreenTech. Topics such as circular material streams, working together in the vegetable value chain and updates on Medicinal Cannabis will be extensively discussed. GreenTech Amsterdam will take place from 13 – 15 June at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.

GreenTech is pleased to announce that 6 from the 34 submissions have been nominated, in 2 categories ‘Innovation’ and ‘Concept’, for the GreenTech Innovation & Concept Awards 2023. “A clear signal that horticulture is a highly innovative sector”, says the jury. The winner per category will be announced during the opening of the show on the first day. GreenTech Amsterdam will take place from 13 – 15 June at RAI Amsterdam.

Circular material streams highlighted at GreenTech Amsterdam 2023

GreenTech this year will have a strong programme and tackles the big issues of today such as ‘The road to a zero footprint with hydrogen’, ‘Cultivation planning with algorithms’, ‘Medical compound production’ and ‘Future farming’. GreenTech Amsterdam will take place from 13 – 15 June at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.

The third edition of GreenTech Americas will be all about technology which boosts the horticultural productivity. The show offers an ‘open to all visitors’ GreenTech Stage and an educational Conference Programme. International and regional high-level speakers will inspire investors, importers, exporters and breeders how to optimize their production through technology in a controlled environment. Topics like ‘Alternative crops’ and ‘How to use data for better decision making’ will be discussed.

Audience record for third edition of GreenTech Americas

The knowledge programme of GreenTech Amsterdam, the global horticulture platform, will be all about ‘Your connection to sustainable food and flower production’. Specific topics such as smart lighting, plant health, resilient cultivation and robotics are covered. But also themes like partnering in the value chain, supply chain integration, biodiversity and sustainability challenges in the horticulture sector are on the agenda at the Vision-, Technology- and Plant Compound/ Vertical Farming Stages. In total 525 exhibitors and 11,000 visitors will be expected on the show floor. GreenTech Amsterdam will take place from 13 – 15 June at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.

GreenTech Amsterdam 2023: Theme knowledge programme announced

During the GreenTech Americas Conference programme, leading (inter)national experts focus on optimizing crops in a controlled environment. At GreenTech Americas are the latest technologies and innovations of the industry in the region of Americas. From Tuesday, March 21 through Thursday, March 23, 200 companies and 2,400 professionals will be present on the show floor in Querétaro Congress Center (QCC), Mexico.
