Green Relief is company based in Hamilton, Ontario and Canada, founded in 2013 by three motivated individuals; Warren Bravo, Lyn Bravo and Steve LeBlanc. They are driven by three core principles of sustainability, social responsibility and research. The three founders strive to ensure that Green Relief strongly reflects the three core principles in their everyday operations.

"Rebranding our company was a very personal decision," said Green Relief CEO Warren Bravo. "With legalization looming, it was imperative that our image better reflected our unwavering commitment to cannabis as medicine while simultaneously highlighting our passion for sustainability."

Green Relief finds it imperative that the consumer market and even non consumers know more than Green Relief’s drive from quality, consistency and safety of their medical cannabis. They want the world to know that they have a responsibility to give back to the community and help take care of our planet.

Green Relief has started this mission by becoming the only medicinal cannabis grower in the world that utilises the green and sustainable method of aquaponics. This is where fish and plants live symbiotically in a “natural” ecosystem that is able to consume up to 90% less water than traditional indoor cultivation methods. Nowadays, aquaponics is considered to be the most innovative and sustainable form of crop production and growth.

Green Relief uses tilapia fish in their aquaponics system. These fish are easily maintained and are fed high quality organic feed that provides an constant and excellent source of lean protein. Once each fish reaches its full weight, Green Relief donates them to local shelters; that can be up to 300-350 fish every four weeks.
